For five days every year, Ōtaki welcomes Indigenous filmmakers from across Aotearoa and the world to share their stories with over 80 award-winning feature and short drama and documentary films.

The Māoriland Film Festival is the largest international Indigenous Film Festival in the Southern Hemisphere. Enjoy films, meet the filmmakers and join the circle of Indigenous cinema through art, emerging technology, industry workshops, kōrero and more! Highlights include the Māoriland Keynote and Māoriland Red Carpet Party.
