Kāpiti Coasts civic centre, is a thriving and dynamic hub for the community, and is easily accessed from State Highway 1 and Paraparaumu train station. Here you can find all you need, with an abundance of shop including retail stores, housewares and gift stores, shoe stores and supermarkets.
But there so much more than shopping available, you can also unwind and watch the latest movies at Event Cinema located in Coastlands Shopping Mall, or make sure to bring you togs and stop by Coastlands Aquatic Centre for a great day at the pool. Take a walk to the top of the hill to see the Mary of Lourdes statue and take in the stunning view of the town centre and beyond.
Craft beer lovers will be in their element, as one of New Zealand's best known brands has made Kāpiti it's home. Tuatara Brewery, along with Duncan's Brewery have build their brands here and you can stop by for a taste of their creations while sitting in the sun. Or if its a little too early to taste some craft beer delights, then pick up a freshly roasted deliciously smooth coffee from Dark Horse Coffee, you cant go wrong.

Finally finish off with some delicious food at one of the great restaurant, like a lunch time bite at Marine Parade Eatery, or a evening experience at 50/50.
